Last year in the Florida Keys, more than $13 million in scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors, but only $23,000 went to younger high-school students. And 100% of that support came from Reach for Greatness. We are the only organization in the Keys dedicated to helping students before college, ensuring they have every advantage that students on the mainland have.

These programs help students stand out in college admissions, but they can be cost-prohibitive with families shouldering tuition plus travel across the country just to participate.

In our first summer, thanks to generous community support, we raised $24,177 and awarded 95%, over $23,000, directly to students for transformational learning experiences across the U.S.

Now we’re focused on Summer 2026, with a goal to raise $70,000 and again award 95% of funds to outstanding upcoming freshmen through upcoming seniors right here in the Keys.
